Management Techniques-Story style

By Dr.Raji Arabi

Management techniques narrated in Story style.Story plot is Mahabharat- one of the ancient Epic in India.

LAYU is an Investor,Business tycoon and one of the top Business Women in India.

She is a Real Feminist.

Why I said Real?

Nowadays Feminist is used as a Sarcastic term to bully a Women by dominant Men orelse Women dominates Men by suppressing their acivities and called themselves as a Feminist.

But Feminist mean,

A Person who supports Feminism.

Feminism means Belief that women and Men should have equal rights and opputunities & organised activities on behalf of Women’s Rights,growth and Interest.

Let’s enter in to the story.

Layu used to spend her weekend with her parents.One Sunday,She asked her Father YUVAN ,”Dad,was there any corporate style management or any Business Strategies happened in ancient age?”

Yuvan replied ,”Dear Layu, strategic theories are taken from Ancient stories which are concised and formulated as Planning techniques”

Layu surprised & curiously asked her father to explain it in detail.

CORPORATE MAHABHARAT:

Yuvan started narrating the Branch story of Mahabharat.

Ashwathaman son of Guru Dhronochariyar requested Lord Krishna to give his Sudharsana Chakra{A Magical weapon} to him.

Lord asked him to take that weapon which is present in his side,but unfortunately,Ashwath couldn’t able to move that.He was sad!!

Lord enquired about his special wish for that particular thing.Ashwath informed that there will be a war between Kauravas and Pandavas in Future and continued that

“I wish to support my Friend Dhuriyodhanan,Kauravas”

“Obiviously ,I need to oppose you,my dear lord”

Everyone knows that Lord Krishna support Pandavas only.

In order to oppose,kill and win Lord Krishna,Ashwath need a strong weapon and thus he planned to get it from Lord Krishna.

Lord Krishna astonished and gifted him his NARAYANA ASTHRAM,an another magical weapon as a token of appreciation for his courage.

The speciality of this weapon is it fires a powerful tirade of millions of deadly missilies simultaneously.

Could say CELESTIAL GODS and their WORKS!!….{In modern term,its like a machine gun with some magics or could say with some divine power.These divine power never harm those who surrenders }

Even after this,Pandavas won!! How??!!

On the 16th day of war,For the sake of his Father Guru Dhronachariyar’s death, Ashwath furiously activated Narayana Asthram weapon over the Pandavas.

Pandavas was at Panic while seeing that weapon was in activation.

At that time,Lord Krishna suggested them to throw out all over their weapons and got surrender to that celestials.

Pandavas obeyed!! Celestials stopped their mission and went after their time.

Rest is Known History.{Pandanvas won}

CORRELATION:

Yuvan narrated to Laya about the Leadership,strategies & Techniques.

Corporate Mahabharat Techniques:

SWOT Analysis:- It is Internal Strength & weakness,External Oppurtunities & Threat.

  • Strength- Lord Krishna’s Leadership,Unity of Pandavas,Clear knowledge about opponents.
  • Weakness- Weapon not much stronger than Celestials{Narayana Asthram}
  • Oppurtunity- Celestials are gods and they are not their enemies.Hence surrender to them is not wrong to the ethics.
  • Threat: Lord’s weapon {Narayana Asthram is on opponent side}

i.e Need to empower opponent as well as saving his team.

Couldn’t get?

Lord only gave that Celestials in order to appreciate Ashwathaman and in the same way he made a plan to escape Pandavas from celestials through surrender!!

What a Strategy?!!!
