What is Leadership?
It is a skill that includes the ability of an individual to lead or to guide or to influence people in positive way.
Motivates people to achieve or directing people with strategy to meet their needs and reach their goals.
No matter whoever you are, whatever may be your position, you can be a leader.Yeah, you don’t need any title or designation to be a leader!! Non-positional leadership.
Leadership is a quality, is a skill, is a mindset!!
To be a leader, you should be Professionally competent and Emotionally Intelligent in order to guide or influence people in a positive and productive way.
How can you influence people, positively?
Take an initiative to help others:
“Helping others” is the way for Humanity. Giving support to people who seek support or who is in need not only influence them but also connected to them emotionally.
“Empathy & Compassion”.
In professional life, use your skills and strength for accomplishing your colleague’s work but without sparing yours!!
Focus on Credibility & Building relationships:
Be Authentic, Be Loyal, Be honest, Be accountable, Be respectful, Be trustworthy, Be professionally competent, Be empathetic.
“Do not tell too much, just Act”
Stand by Example:
- Respect your commitments
- Display high moral character at all times
- Be assertive and take risks
- Take responsibilities in failures and practice compassion
- Agility in decision making while facing uncertainities.
- Be adaptable.
- Practice active listening

- Facilitate personal success for peers
- Focus on everyday improvements
- Be a problem solver
- Connect to vision, Mission and values of the organisation
- Invest your time in developing skills and influence the same with people.
- Reward yourself and others
- Share your knowledge.

If everyone in an organization takes responsibility as a leader through ever day action, there will be a sustained growth and success in an organization.
Start developing the leadership qualities and try to implement in your day to day activities until it becomes your habit.
