USING HAND SANITIZERS ATTRACT VIRUS?!!??

OMG!!

WHAT!!

??????????!!

Then why these are available in market?!!! Yeah! Why?!

Its like a double-edged sword!!

So USE IT CORRECTLY!!

Let us see ,Why,When & How to use!!  Ofcourse in a Simple manner.

Sanitizers mainly of 2 types:

Alcohol-based       

Alcohol free.

Let us first discuss about Alcohol-free sanitizers.

It contains Quarternary ammonium compounds usually Benzalkonium chloride instead of Alcohol.Chemistry students!Chemist! Please tell about it action in comments.Whether it is ok for us or useful??

In easy form I could say they are LESS EFFECTIVE!!

Now,We will see about the world popular, familiar,needed ,highly demandable during  CORONA season, MR.ALCOHOL –BASED SANITIZER.

This fellow is eligible to kill microorganisms like Bacteria, Virus,Fungus,Parasites etc etc{list goes on} by breaking it’s cell wall.

OK!! BUT why the Hell this bloody heading?!!!

Coming to the point,                                                                                                              

Frequent use of Alcohol-based sanitizers can damage STRATUM CORNEUM{outer layer of the skin} which leads to bad consequences to HAND MICROBIOTA!!

Who are this HAND MICROBIOTA?

They are good bacterias which is present in our skin useful for skin barrier function.

So,Sanitizers damage the skin which leads to bad consequences to hand microbiota causing DISRUPTION IN SKIN’S BARRIER FUNCTION & thus by resulting in attracting all variety of Microorganisms.

So CLEANLINESS OBSESSED GERMOPHOBES!! Be cautious & keep this in mind when you use hand sanitizers next time.

Additionally,Hand sanitizers may not be effective when hands are visibly greasy or dirty & also not effective in removing hard chemicals.

Then why this bloody hell is selling!!

Hand sanitizers have their own place!

A wide range of benefits in Hospital.so it is needed there.

When water is not available!

When washing sink is not available!

THEN,HOW TO CLEAN THE HAND??!!

HAND WASHING WITH SOAP & WATER,NOT LESS THAN 20 SECONDS WITH STANDARD STEPS is the best method to cleanse the pathogens i.e bacteria,virus or other microorganisms which causes disease.

Note!!

After hand washing,wipe your hand with clean towel.Damp hands can lead to skin disorders & make it easier for pathogens to latch on.
